The ability to transform the worship space from one liturgical season to another. This is done by the use of color, fabric, ritual items, and placement of artistic pieces for various worship experiences. Environment and Art changes are usually done on Saturday's before the beginning of each liturgical season during the day.

  1. Be available to carry out and assist in the implementation of set-up and take-down times of liturgical seasons
  2. To provide a prayerful environment for our worshipping community.
  3. Take seriously our task as presented by the Liturgical Year.
  4. Work towards an awareness of what good environment is
  5. Works within a specific budgeted amount each year and look to a long range plan for major purchases
  6. Reads the Bishops Document, “Built of Living Stones”
  7. With the Director of Worship prepare an annual calendar of environment plans

In preparation for each liturgical season approximately 4hours for each season. (usually on the Saturday before each liturgical season). Training is "on-hand" and is best accomplished for each liturgical season at the time of implementation


Time commitment: Three years (one term) renewable
