Create and coordinate spiritual opportunities that enable people to have authentic encounters with Jesus Christ. Commit to serving as intentional disciples to help support the parish. Emphasize ways to enhance prayer, promote the sacraments, support faith formation, and encourage discipleship. The Discipleship Group aims to answer Jesus’s call: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations...” (Matthew 28:19) Please contact the St. Gilbert Discipleship group if you are interested in getting involved, receiving support, or would like to suggest a spiritual event. Biblical Walk Through the Mass: 5-Part Zoom Video Series starts February 23rd, 7:00PM-8:30PM led by Deacons Brian Fisher & Tom Biegel. Do you understand the meaning behind the parts of the Mass? In his video-based study A Biblical Walk Through the Mass, Dr. Edward Sri explores the roots of the words and gestures we experience at Mass and explains their profound significance. In this study, you will come to know and understand the Mass as never before, leading you to a richer, more fruitful worship experience. See Flyer for more information.
