Ministers of Care bring the Eucharist to homebound members of our parish. Vatican II empowered baptized lay people to minister to individual needs within the community. Pastoral care of the sick, the elderly, and the dying requires the presence of carefully trained volunteers with professional direction. When a parishioner needs this type of pastoral care, the coordinator contacts a Minister of Care to make a personal visit. This ministry is a powerful witness to God's presence. It is both a sign of hope and a sharing of the Good News.
