The Society of St. Vincent DePaul is an International Catholic organization of lay persons founded in Paris, France in 1833 by Frederic Ozanam. His challenge was to prove the practical value of his Christian beliefs. In the Spirit of Justice and Charity, its members seek to help those who are in need. The Society takes care of those in need of food, clothing and other necessities of life. The Society members meet on a regular basis to enhance their own spirituality and to discuss how they can be of service. The work of the Society depends on the donations of the good people of our parish.
